They wanted to expand their presence across different cities in Netherlands and wanted to match their online presence with their expanding operations. Vervanhierrotterdam specializes in fresh food breakfast and freshly made coffees. They wanted to create an online presence which showcased the freshness of their food and coffees. It was important that the online presence clearly defined the freshness of the food and the menu. In a swift 1 month project cycle, the AARCHIK team isolated the defining aspects of the change in the image of Vervanhierrotterdam . We led a holistic design initiative, and mapped out a more user-friendly website that was as enjoyable to browse as it was to look at. Design Aspects
The basic premise of the design was the freshness of the offering. The mandate of the client was to cater to the offerings of the business with light colors and also maintain the vibrancy of the offering. The design aspect focussed on creating vibrant colors, graphics and photos of offerings with light pastel colors. The design aspects covered the photos of the different aspects of the café and also covered the different offerings of the café.
Content That Engages
AARCHIK ensured that the content matched the offerings. The content showcased the offerings with attractive graphics and designs that interspersed with the text at the right places. The content was fashioned in such a manner so that the clients could get a feel of a bigger outfit rather than just a small café. As the café wanted to expand to different cities, we tried to provide content that would engage the audience in different cities with relevant references to different important destinations and photographs
The Final Result
We created a new online identity for Vervanhierrotterdam which encompasses their complete offerings. User engagement was driven by different social media contests and campaigns on facebook, twitter. Instagram and Pinterest were heavily leveraged to provide real time engagement to the users and drive traffic to the website. The website identity ensured a wholesome experience to the users and availability of information to the users intuitively. The website saw an increase of 35% of footfalls on their website within the first month of launch of their new online identity
