The client is a leading manufacturing group in India with a turnover of 37.89 Billion with an ascertained footprint in Chemicals, Textiles and Consumer Products segments.
Business Need
The client already had an SAP ERP in place, however, it was not able to manage some important issues with their vendors and their clients. Some of the important issues tackled were as follows :

The lengthy manual process of documents verification at different factory gates leading to large delays in material acquisition

Manual Processes encouraged large-scale pilferage, malpractices, material mishandling, and material loss leading to substantial revenue loss

Processes and checks were compromised via oversight or wilful practices leading to substandard qualities, order cancellations, client unrest and spiralling operational cost
04
The QA process was not well documented and properly monitored leading to budget overruns and sub-standard quality products being produced

Manual Invoice processing and the inability of a single interface for all order checkpoints resulted in wrong payments, erroneous invoice generation and mismatch of accounts
