Challenge
The goal was to create a monitoring and tracking app for personal carbon footprint for users and provide a detailed tracking system. There was detailed research needed for calculations of carbon footprint for each minute household, commute, eating activities and habits.

Analysis
In depth discussions with the product manager to understand the project idea and to identify priority of new features. As a result, new tasks were added to the backlog for monitoring.

Development
Visuals(Mocks) were prepared to improve UX and make screens consistent throughout the app Realtime updates were provided by ticking off tasks one by one within JIRA, for the product manager to monitor.

Code quality and testing
Code reviews were used to improve quality.Weekly demos ensured requirements were clear and progress was being made each week.
Results

Product for tracking and benchmarking personal carbon footprint was provided which tracked the personal carbon footprint for household chores, commute options, eating habits, appliance choices etc. The product also included a detailed level based gamification of the personal carbon footprint habits on the app and detailed admin panel for administration activities, live chat , support and maintenance activities

Performance was improved by adding NgRx to the application, reducing the reliance and backend and making the app snappier

The design was simple and intuitive to facilitate easy of use, minimum of clicks and use the app with smooth movements and minimum effort
